Reading List
If you’d like to read more about people who
lived in colonial times, during the Revolutionary War, in the
years after the war, or in the days of the Underground Railroad,
here are some books we recommend. We’ve put them in groups
to show you which books go well with the different houses. For
example, before or just after you’ve visited Cliveden, you
might like to read Toliver’s Secret. All of them make
great choices for independent reading, reading circles, or for
read-to sessions with your teacher.
